These cheese pies in 5 minutes are a quick and tasty solution for any occasion. Made with simple ingredients like yogurt, cheese, and flour, they are filled with your choice of cheese and baked until golden and crispy. A versatile recipe that’s easy to prepare in a short amount of time.

Ingredients

  • For the Dough
  • 500 g 500 Self Raising Flour

  • 200 g 200 Greek Yogurt

  • 200 g 200 Melting Cheese, grated

  • 150 g 150 Vegetable Oil

  • 150 g 150 Olive Oil

  • 70 g 70 Milk

  • Pepper

  • Thyme

  • For the Filling
  • Feta Cheese or grated melting cheese of your choice

How to make the Mini Cheese Pies

  • In a bowl, add the flour, yogurt, grated cheese, olive oil, vegetable oil, pepper, and thyme, and knead.
  • Gradually add the milk while continuing to knead. Keep kneading until the dough no longer sticks to your hands.
  • Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 50-gram balls.
  • Roll each ball into a round shape, add your preferred cheese (feta or melting cheese), and close the dough to form a small cheese pie.
  • Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) with top and bottom heating elements and bake for about 25-30 minutes until they turn golden brown.
