Easy Bread Pizza with Stale Bread – A Simple Homemade Snack

Bread pizza is one of the easiest ways to turn everyday ingredients into a satisfying homemade meal.

Instead of preparing pizza dough, this recipe uses slices of stale bread as the base.

Each slice is brushed with olive oil, topped with a seasoned tomato sauce, and finished with grated cheese and chopped deli meats.

The pizzas are then baked until the bread becomes crisp and the cheese melts.

It’s a practical recipe for busy days, especially when you have bread left over from the previous day.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best bread for bread pizza?

Rustic bread, sourdough, and thick sandwich bread are all suitable. Choose slices that can support the toppings without falling apart.

Can I use fresh bread instead?

Yes. Fresh bread works too, although very soft slices may become less crispy.

Can I freeze bread pizza?

Yes. You can freeze assembled, unbaked bread pizzas on a tray before transferring them to freezer-safe packaging. Bake from frozen, adjusting the cooking time as needed.
