Ingredients

  • 1500 ml 6 cup Non-dairy Whipping Cream

  • 500 g 17.5 oz Milk Chocolate Couverture

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1 pinch 1 pinch Black Pepper

  • 300 g 10.5 oz Roasted Almonds, roughly chopped

  • 500 g 17.5 oz Spoon Sweet Sour Cherry

How to make Chocolate Ice Cream

  • Heat 500 ml of the whipping cream until hot but not boiling.
  • Gradually pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and stir until smooth and glossy.
  • Add the salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Let the chocolate mixture cool slightly.
  • Prepare the Ice Cream Base
  • Whip the remaining 1 liter of cream until fluffy and airy.
  • Gradually fold the chocolate mixture into the whipped cream using gentle motions with a spatula.
  • Add the roasted almonds and the sour cherry pieces.
  • Mix lightly to combine.
  • Freeze
  • Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container.
  • Cover and freeze for at least 6 hours.
  • Before serving, leave the ice cream out of the freezer for a few minutes for a softer, creamier texture.
