Ingredients

  • 500 g 17.6 oz Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

  • 5 tbsp 5 tbsp Hazelnut Praline

  • 200 g 7 oz Butter (melted)

  • 1 pinch 1 pinch Salt

  • Chocolate Cereal

  • To Serve
  • Icing Sugar

How to make Chocolate Pinecones

  • In a food processor, crush the biscuits into a fine powder.
  • Transfer the biscuit powder to a bowl and mix it with melted butter, hazelnut spread, and a pinch of salt until fully combined. If the mixture is too stiff, add a bit of liqueur, milk, or orange juice.
  • Take about half a handful of the mixture and shape it into a ball, then mold it into a pinecone shape. (Refer to the video for shaping details.)
  • Attach pieces of chocolate cereal around the dough to create the pinecone’s texture. (See the video for a demonstration.)
  • Optionally, dust the pinecones with powdered sugar for a festive snowy effect.
