Ingredients

  • For the Dough
  • 100 g 100 Melting cheese, grated

  • 150 g 150 Olive oil

  • 150 g 150 Sunflower oil

  • 200 g 200 Greek Yogurt

  • 500 g 500 All-purpose Flour

  • 1 tbsp 1 Vinegar

  • 1 tsp 1 Baking Powder

  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

  • For the Filling
  • Cocktail Sausages (or any sausages of choice)

  • For Brushing
  • 1 1 Egg

  • 30 ml 30 Water

  • Sesame Seeds (optional)

How to make Sausage Rolls

  • Make the Dough
  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, sunflower oil, yogurt, vinegar, grated cheese, pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add flour and baking powder. Mix until you have a smooth dough.
  • Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
  • Shape the Sausage Rolls
  • Divide the dough into 25 equal pieces.
  • Flatten each piece, place a sausage in the center, and wrap tightly.
  • Arrange on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Whisk the egg with water and brush the tops. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  • Bake
  • Preheat oven to 200°C / 390°F, bottom/top heat.
  • Bake in the middle rack for about 30 minutes, until golden brown.
