Ingredients

  • 700 g 700 Puff Pastry (1 package)

  • 200 g 200 Cream Cheese

  • 40 g 40 Milk

  • 200 g 200 Ham (or turkey) diced

  • 200 g 200 Bacon, diced

  • 200 g 200 Gouda cheese, grated

  • 200 g 200 Mozzarella cheese, grated

  • 1 1 Egg

  • Sesame Seeds

How to make the Pie

  • Cut the ham (or turkey) and bacon into small cubes.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese with 20 g (1 tbsp + 1 tsp) milk.
  • Place one puff pastry sheet on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over it, leaving a border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese (gouda & mozzarella) over the cream cheese.
  • Add the ham and bacon, a bit of pepper, then cover with the remaining cheese.
  • Roll out the second puff pastry sheet slightly and place it on top.
  • Seal the edges by pressing with a fork and tuck them underneath.
  • Press lightly to spread the filling evenly.
  • Score the top into pieces without cutting all the way through.
  • Beat the egg with 20 g (1 tbsp + 1 tsp) milk and brush over the pie.
  • Make a small hole in each piece, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and bake at 180°C (355°F) for 40–50 minutes until golden.
