Ingredients

  • 800 g 6 1/2 cup All-purpose Flour

  • 500 g 2 cup Lukewarm Water

  • 16 g 5 tsp Dry Yeast

  • 20 g 1 tbsp Sugar

  • 15 g 2 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 40 g 3 tbsp Butter

  • For Brushing
  • Water

  • 1 tsp 1 tsp Sugar

  • Sesame Seeds

How to make sandwich bread rolls

  • In a bowl, add the water, sugar, and yeast and mix.
  • Add the flour and salt and mix lightly.
  • Add the butter and knead for a few minutes until you have an elastic dough that slightly sticks to your hands.
  • Cover with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, until doubled in size.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface. Flatten it gently and fold it like an envelope.
  • Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Divide into 10 equal pieces.
  • Shape each piece by folding inward and rolling into the desired shape.
  • Place on a parchment-lined tray, cover, and let rest for 20 minutes.
  • Mix water with sugar and brush the rolls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Score the tops with a razor.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C / 350°F (conventional heat) for about 30 minutes.
