Ingredients

  • 500 g 4 cup Self-Rising Flour

  • 300 g 1 1/4 cup Orange Juice

  • 350 g 1 3/4 cup Sugar

  • 250 g 1 cup Margarine (room temperature) or Vegetable Oil

  • Optional
  • 100 g 2/3 cup Chocolate Couverture Sprinkles

How to make vegan orange cake

  • In a bowl, combine the sugar and margarine. Mix well until incorporated.
  • Gradually alternate adding the orange juice and flour while mixing.
  • Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are fully combined.
  • If desired, add the chocolate sprinkles and stir gently.
  • Grease and flour a 28 cm (11-inch) cake pan.
  • Pour in the batter and spread evenly.
  • Preheat the oven to 340ยฐF (170ยฐC), conventional heat.
  • Place the pan on the lower rack and bake for about 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before removing from the pan.
