Ingredients

  • Cake Batter
  • 1 cup 1 Plain Yogurt (200 g)

  • 1 cup 1 Butter softened (250 g)

  • 2 cups 2 Sugar (420 g)

  • 3 cups 3 Self-Rising Flour (or all purpose flour + 2 tsp baking powder)

  • 4 4 Eggs

  • Optional
  • 2 2 Vanillins

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Chocolate Sprinkles

How to make the Cake

  • In a large bowl, add the sugar and eggs and whisk well using a hand whisk.
  • Add the yogurt and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Add the butter, vanilla (if using), flour, and baking powder (if not using self-rising flour). Mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold the chocolate sprinkles into the batter using a spatula.
  • Grease and flour a cake pan, pour in the batter, and spread it evenly.
  • Preheat the oven to 320ยฐF (160ยฐC). Place the pan on the lower rack and bake using conventional heat for about 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
