Ingredients

  • For the Cookies
  • 3 3 Eggs

  • 1 pinch 1 pinch Salt

  • 120 g 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 150 g 5.3 oz Butter, melted

  • 500 g 4 cup Self-rising flour (or all-purpose + 2 1/2 tsp baking powder)

  • 2 2 Vanillin Capsules

  • 70 g 1/4 cup Chocolate Sprinkles

  • For the Chocolate Coating
  • 200 g 7 oz Milk Couverture Chocolate

  • 2 tbsp 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

How to makes the Cookies

  • For the Cookies
  • In a bowl, add eggs, salt, sugar, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  • Add melted butter and mix again.
  • Gradually add the flour while mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Add the chocolate sprinkles and knead gently to incorporate.
  • Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
  • Divide into 10 equal pieces.
  • Roll each piece into a rope about 1 cm (ยฝ in) thick.
  • Cut into equal lengths to form cookies and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 170ยฐC (340ยฐF) for 20 minutes, until lightly golden.
  • Let cool completely before coating with chocolate.
  • For the Chocolate Coating
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, add finely chopped chocolate and vegetable oil.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and melt in the microwave in short bursts, stirring each time. Alternatively, melt over a bain-marie.
  • Dip both ends of each cookie into the melted chocolate.
  • Place on parchment paper and let the chocolate set completely before serving.
