Ingredients

  • 450 g Phyllo Dough Pastry Sheets (1 pack)

  • 200 g Greek Yoghurt

  • 230 g Milk

  • 3 Eggs

  • 100 g Olive Oil

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Paprika

  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder

  • 350 g Meltable Cheese, grated

  • 200 g Ham, chopped

  • 100 g Bacon, chopped

Recipe directions

  • Cut the phyllo pastry sheets in half and then slice them into rounds.
  • Using our hands, we separate the phyllo pastry sheets by lifting them. Set them aside to dry.
  • Add the yoghurt, milk, eggs, olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, baking powder to a bowl and mix.
  • Divide the mixture into two bowls.
  • Add half of the phyllo pastry sheets to one of the bowls and mix gently.
  • Grease the baking dish with cooking oil and pour the phyllo dough mixture. Spread the mixture evenly.
  • Add the cheese, ham and bacon.
  • Add the other half of phyllo pastry sheets and spread them evenly.
  • Grease the phyllo pastry sheets with some cooking oil. Pour the mixture of the second bowl over the phyllo pastry sheets.
  • Optionally, sprinkle some paprika on top.
  • Preheat the oven to 355 F (180 C) and bake for about 45 minutes.
