  • 1 liter 1 Heavy Cream

How to make Butter

  • Pour the heavy cream into the bowl of a stand mixer.
  • Beat on high speed for about 10 minutes, until the cream โ€œsplitsโ€ and separates into butter and liquid (buttermilk).
  • Gather the butter with your hands and press to remove excess liquid.
  • Transfer the butter to a bowl of ice water and knead lightly to wash out any remaining buttermilk. Rinse well.
  • Line a bowl with parchment paper, place the butter inside, and press it into shape.
  • Cover with parchment and refrigerate until firm.
