Indulge in a delicious pizza-style stuffed bread, a flavor that combines the fluffy texture of bread with the rich taste of pizza. With a filling of cheeses, mushrooms, onions, bacon, and peppers, this bread will become a favorite for the whole family!

Ingredients

  • For the Dough
  • 700 g 24.7 oz All-Purpose Flour

  • 250 g 8.8 oz Milk (cold)

  • 100 g 3.5 oz Water (Hot)

  • 14 g 0.5 oz Dry Yeast

  • 20 g 0.7 oz Sugar

  • 8 g 0.3 oz Salt

  • 1 1 Egg

  • 50 g 1.8 oz Seed Oil

  • For the Filling
  • 400 g 14 oz Mixed Cheese (grated)

  • 5 5 Mushrooms (sliced)

  • 1 1 Onion (grated)

  • 150 g 5.3 oz Bacon (chopped)

  • 100 g 3.5 oz Peppers

  • 20 g 0.7 oz Olive Oil

  • For the Topping
  • 1 1 Egg

  • Sesame Seeds

Recipe directions

  • For the Dough
  • In a bowl, add the cold milk, hot water, yeast, sugar, and mix.
  • Add the flour, salt, vegetable oil, and mix.
  • Once the ingredients are incorporated, add one egg and knead for 2-3 minutes.
  • Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise.
  • For the Filling
  • Place a pan over heat. Add some olive oil, the grated onion, the mushrooms, and sauté.
  • Add the peppers, bacon, and continue sautéing until the moisture evaporates.
  • Turn off the heat and let it cool aside.
  • To Assemble
  • After the dough doubles in size, flour your countertop and knead slightly to deflate the dough.
  • Divide the dough in half and roll out the first piece. Place it on parchment paper.
  • Add grated cheese and spread it on the dough.
  • Pour the filling on top and sprinkle grated cheese again.
  • Roll out the second piece of dough, slightly larger than the first one. Place it on top of the filling, tucking the upper sheet under the bottom one.
  • Adjust the shape with your hands, cover with a towel, and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, when the dough has slightly risen, use a small glass to press down the dough, sealing the upper sheet with the bottom sheet, creating round shapes.
  • In a bowl, beat an egg with 2 tablespoons of water. Brush the dough with the mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 40 minutes.
