  • 400 g 14.1 oz All purpose flour

  • 16 g 0.6 oz Dry yeast

  • 20 g 0.7 oz Salt

  • 30 g 1 oz Sugar

  • 40 g 1.4 oz Olive oil

  • Sesame seeds

Recipe directions

  • In a big bowl add the water, yeast, sugar, olive oil, all purpose flour, salt, bread flour and mix. Knead the dough.
  • Cover the bowl with a lid or a towel and set it aside for 40 minutes.
  • Dust a little flour onto our countertop and transfer the dough onto it.
  • Knead the dough slightly and shape it into a round loaf.
  • Transfer the loaf to a non-stick parchment paper and cover it with a towel to let it rise.
  • Preheat the oven to 220 C (430 F) with the baking dish inside.
  • Spritz the bread lightly with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  • Cover the bread with a parchment paper.
