  • 1 kg Potatoes

  • 80 g Seed Oil

  • 400 g Meltable Cheese

  • 150 g Bacon

  • 200 g Ham (or turkey)

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Paprika

  • Dried Oregano

Recipe directions

  • Clean and wash the potatoes. Then grate them using a coarse grater.
  • Place a 28-centimeter (11 inches) diameter pan over medium heat and add half of the vegetable oil. Spread it evenly across the entire pan.
  • Add half of the grated potatoes, spreading them to cover the bottom of the pan. Season with salt and pepper, and add the dried oregano and paprika.
  • Add the bacon, ham, and grated cheese.
  • Spread another layer of the grated potatoes and repeat the seasonings used in the bottom layer.
  • Let it fry for 4-5 minutes, flip it with the help of a plate that has been lightly greased. Add a bit more vegetable oil (40g) and wait for another 5 minutes for the other side to fry.
