  • Jam of your choice

  • For the Cookies’ Decoration
  • 200 g 7 oz White Chocolate, melted

  • 100 g 3.5 oz Milk Chocolate, melted

How to make the Christmas Cookies

  • In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar with a mixer until well combined.
  • Add one whole egg and one egg yolk, then continue mixing.
  • Gradually add the flour while kneading until a dough forms.
  • Divide the dough into three equal parts.
  • Take the first part, press it flat, and shape it with your hands.
  • Place the second part of the dough in a bowl, add cocoa powder, and knead until the cocoa is fully incorporated. Flatten it with your hands.
  • Take a small piece from the third part of the dough, add red food coloring, and knead it well. Combine it with the rest of the dough, mix thoroughly, and flatten.
  • Roll out the doughs with a rolling pin to a medium thickness.
  • Use cookie cutters to shape the dough into festive designs.
  • Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F) and bake the cookies for 15 minutes.
  • Once cooled, take one cookie, spread your choice of jam or hazelnut spread, and top it with another cookie of the same shape to create a sandwich.
