How to make Apple Cinnamon Rolls

  • In a mixer bowl, combine lukewarm milk, sugar, yeast, vanilla, eggs, flour, salt, and butter.
  • Knead for 4 minutes (or by hand for 5 minutes) until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  • Shape into a ball, score a cross on top, cover with a towel, and let rise for 30–40 minutes.
  • Transfer to a floured surface and knead lightly to deflate.
  • Roll out into a large rectangular sheet and brush with melted butter.
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the dough.
  • Roll up tightly and seal the ends.
  • Cut into 12 equal rolls and gently flatten them with your hands.
  • Place on a parchment-lined baking tray, pressing lightly in the center of each roll with your finger.
  • Cover with a towel and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  • Brush each roll with a little apple jam.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Brush warm rolls with melted butter for a shiny, rich finish.

The Ultimate Soft Apple Cinnamon Rolls

There’s something magical about the smell of apple and cinnamon baking in the oven. These homemade apple cinnamon rolls are soft, buttery, and perfectly spiced — the kind of dessert that makes everyone gather around the kitchen.

The dough is rich and fluffy thanks to butter, eggs, and milk, while the filling — a mix of brown sugar and cinnamon — melts into a sweet, gooey swirl. Brushing the rolls with apple jam before baking adds a fruity aroma and helps them stay moist and glossy.

Tips for Perfect Cinnamon Rolls

  • Use lukewarm milk to activate the yeast properly.
  • Don’t skip the second rise — it makes the rolls extra soft.
  • Brush with butter after baking for that irresistible shine and flavor.
