Ingredients

  • 600 g 3 1/8 cup Sugar

  • 150 g 5/8 cup Water

  • 300 g 1 1/3 cup Butter

  • 330 ml 11 Heavy cream 35% (at room temperature)

  • 2 tsp 2 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1 pinch 1 pinch Salt

Recipe directions

  • Place a big pot on heat. Add the sugar and water. Mix until brown.
  • Add the butter and mix.
  • Pour the cream in small portions while mixing and turn off the heat.
  • Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix.
  • Store the caramel sause in the jars.
