Ingredients

  • For the Dough
  • 750 g 26.5 oz All purpose flour

  • 16 g 0.6 oz Dry yeast

  • 10 g 0.4 oz Salt

  • 10 g 0.4 oz Sugar

  • 150 g 5.3 oz Seed oil

  • 250 g 8.8 oz Fresh Milk, lukewarm

  • 200 g 7 oz Yogurt

  • 1 1 Whole egg

  • 1 1 Egg yolk

  • For the Filling
  • 400 g 14 oz Meltable cheese, grated

  • 200 g 7 oz Ham, chopped

  • 150 g 5.3 oz Bacon, chopped

  • For the Dough Coating
  • 1 1 Egg white

  • 30 g 1 oz Milk

  • 1 pinch 1 pinch Salt

  • Sesame seeds

How to make the Pies

  • For the Filling
  • In a bowl, add the cheese, ham and bacon and mix.
  • For the dough
  • In a bowl, add the milk, yeast, salt, sugar, vegetable oil, yogurt, egg, egg yolk, and mix well.
  • Gradually add the flour while continuously mixing.
  • Knead with our hands.
  • Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rest for 30 minutes to rise.
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal parts.
  • Roll out each dough piece into a thin stick and let it rest for a while.
  • Flatten each dough stick by pressing it with your hand.
  • To Assemble
  • Add some of the filling on the dough.
  • Wrap and seal the dough.
  • Wrap the dough into a roll.
  • Place the mini pies on a baking pan lined with parchment paper leaving some space between them.
  • Set aside for 25 minutes.
  • For the dough coating
  • In a bowl, add the egg white, the milk, a pinch of salt and mix.
  • Βrush the pies with the mixture and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  • Preheat the oven to 340 F (170 C) and bake for about 25 minutes.
